Service
ScheinFit is an independent learning service for preparing for theory exams: Sportbootführerschein (sport boat licence: Binnen, Segel, See), the fishing exams of the federal states and – once the official catalogue is licensed – the class B driving licence. The app replaces neither a course nor the official exam and has no connection with authorities, examination boards or associations.
Content
The official exam questions come from the official publications named on the “Sources & Licence” page and are reproduced unchanged. Translations, explanations, suggested answers where no official answer key exists, and statistics are learning aids without guarantee; in case of doubt, the German original text applies. We keep the catalogues up to date to the best of our knowledge (see the “as of” date for each catalogue).
Account and use
You can learn as a guest or create an account. Login details must be kept confidential. Automated queries, circumventing technical protection measures, attacks on the service and passing on login details are prohibited. We may block accounts that violate these rules.
Premium and in-app purchases
Getting started is free. Premium (monthly, yearly or one-off) is purchased via Apple In-App Purchase in the iOS app; the prices are shown in the App Store before purchase. Premium purchased in the app also applies on the web with the same account. Apple's terms apply to refunds.
Availability and changes
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee it (maintenance, outages). Features may be developed further or discontinued; we announce significant changes to these terms in the app.
Liability
We are liable for intent and gross negligence as well as under mandatory law (e.g. product liability, injury to life, body or health). Otherwise we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract. Passing an exam is not guaranteed.
